SHEIKH SHAHADATH HOSSAIN, a nuclear engineer from Ontario Tech University, Oshawa, Canada, an employee of Ontario Power Generation (OPG) and working for Pickering Nuclear Generating Station.
Before Ontario Power Generation (OPG), he worked for National Research Council Canada (NRCC), Ottawa, Canada. He is a member of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) Canada, Canadian Nuclear Society (CNS) and Institute of Power Engineers (IPE) Canada.
Bhuiyan Md Golam Mahbub graduated from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). He worked for six years at Bangladesh’s private company, Communication Technology Ltd (CTL) in Dhaka, and for nine years at Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat) in Dubai, UAE. Since 2007, he has been residing in Toronto, Canada, where he works for a leading telecommunications company.
In his free time, Mahbub actively participates in various humanitarian and social initiatives, including ‘Alokito Madhupur’ in Tangail, Bangladesh, a government-registered nonprofit organization supporting the underprivileged. He is also involved with the Vision Infinite Foundation, a nonprofit based in Toronto, and is the founding chairman of Alokito Products Limited, which focuses on promoting healthy agro-based products in Bangladesh.
GAZI S. MAHMUD is a seasoned media professional with a distinguished career in television journalism. He graduated from Jahangirnagar University with a degree in Economics and later earned an advanced diploma in Data Science from Metro College in Toronto.
His journalistic career began at Daily Sangbad in Bangladesh, after which he held key positions at leading media outlets, including Samakal, Channel One, and Banglavision.
Gazi played a pivotal role as the founding News Editor at Somoy TV. He currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief at Vision24 TV, continuing his commitment to delivering impactful news.
DR. KHALID HASAN is the CEO of ResInt Canada (www.resint.ca), an international research organization. He is an accomplished marketer specializing in sustainability and global business strategy, market research, and marketing communication. He studied Sustainable and Global Business Strategy at Harvard Business School. He holds a PhD and an MBA, as well as research diplomas from various universities and institutions in Asia, the US, and Canada.
He teaches Marketing and Human Resource Management at different business schools and universities across Canada and South Asia. He spent 20 years working at the world’s leading market research company, Nielsen, in Canada and South Asia.
Khalid has co-authored several books on marketing management, including Strategic Marketing Management in Asia, published by Emerald Publishing Group UK in December 2016. The second edition will be published in 2024-25. He also collaborated with marketing Guru Professor Philip Kotler and others for Essentials of Modern Marketing, published in 2022. In 2006, he co-authored Marketing Practices in Developing Economy: Cases from South Asia published by PHI India. His fifth book, focused on sustainability, is set to be published in early 2025. He is a member of the Rotary Club of North York, Toronto and Director at Rotary Action Group Community Economic Development. He is also a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF).
Rezaul K. Talukdar has been an active human rights activist for over three decades, with work spanning both Canada and Bangladesh. He has also had a distinguished career as a journalist, contributing to various newspapers. In addition, he is the author of several books, including Nazrul – The Gift of the Century, a work dedicated to Kazi Nazrul Islam, the national poet of Bangladesh.
SHAHID KHANDKER is the President and CEO of KNS Canada Inc. He worked for several leading companies in the medical industry. He was with Dräger, a German respiratory solutions company, in the UK and Singapore. Prior to that, he worked for British Oxygen and its subsidiaries in the UK and Bangladesh. He also worked for the French medical gas and equipment company Air Liquide/VitalAire in Canada.
His passions include music and travel. He holds a diploma in vocal music and has travelled extensively, both of which bring immense joy and energy to his life. He earned a master’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Dhaka and an MBA from the UK.
